Join us as we take a look at the events that took place in the Netherlands in the 1630s, when speculators drove the prices of tulip bulbs to dizzying heights. What was really happening? And has it been overblown in history? We’ll also look at the development of Dutch flower-painting and how, in response to the value of live flowers, the practice of still-life painting developed. An online event link will be sent to your email prior to the event.

Presented by Mary Woodward.
